Jerry Lin, President
Jerry Lin is from Columbus, Georgia and is a junior at Columbus State University. Jerry is seeking a BS degree in Chemistry, and he is most interested in medicinal chemistry. Jerry joined ACS because he believes in being part of an organization dedicated to providing multiple chemistry related experiences to its members. In his brief time at Columbus State, Jerry stood out among his peers and proved his dedication, determination, and many abilities. When the position of Student Government Representative was created, he was nominated to serve in this role, and ever since he has proven to be an immense asset to student chapter.

Jesse Hunt, Secretary
Jesse Hunt is a dual major in Chemistry and Biology. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and moved to Georgia in high school. She is currently a tutor in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics at the Academic Center for Tutoring here at Columbus State. Jesse has been involved in ACS for about a year. Jesse joined ACS because she has a love for learning science. Along with ACS, Jesse is also involved in the Competitive Premedical Program here at CSU. Jesse enjoys volunteering at the Emergency Room and Pediatric Emergency Room at Columbus Regional Hospital. After graduation, she plans to go to osteopathic medical school to become a pediatrician because she loves medicine and working with children.
Ansley Scott, Treasurer
Ansley is Treasurer for American Chemical Society and President of Gamma Sigma Epsilon student chapters. She is also a part of the Meyers Research Lab. Upon graduation in Spring 2020, Ansley plans to attend graduate school to obtain her Ph.D. in Biochemistry.
Alex Yue, Media Coordinator and SGA Representative
Alex Yue is from Fountain Valley, California and a second-year at Columbus State University. He is currently a Pre-Med student majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. He has been a part of ACS for a year and has worked for CSU's Department of Chemistry as a STEM summer intern and a lab assistant for Survey of Chemistry. During his time at CSU, he plans to apply for medical school to pursue his dream of becoming a surgeon. He is also a professional photographer; click on his picture for more information!
